Can anyone confirm please as to whether or not 2 Wolves players -0 Wagstaffe and Woodfield – were sent off against Blackburn at Ewood Park in January 1967?
On the 01/10/1966 Manchester United played Nottingham forest at the city ground. Does anybody know who Manchester United named as the substitute for the game. Thanks in advance.
Hello Wolfgang.
Match nr.6 5.9.66 Blackpool-Liverpool. You have Taylor as goalkeeper. Some other lineups sites, as world football, playmaker,Besoccer has Waiters as start and
Taylor as sub. What is correct? Hist.lineups, rothmans, english football league tables have Taylor. Maybe strange to have a goalkeeper as sub. So I maybe think
Taylor is correct.
Hello Per Aage, I think you are right, Waiters was subbed by Taylor. I have cross-checked this with ENFA and have corrected the lineup. Many thanks for spotting these errors!

Wagstaffe was sent-off in the 43rd minute according to ENFA. They have no notice for Woodfield having been sent-off.
The Daily Telegraph only mentions Wagstaffe – it was his third sending off in the whole career, a First Division record at that time.

Unfortunately I do not know about unused substitutes.
